Overview

Furano is the northernmost Prince Snow Resorts. The ski resort consists of 2 zones, Furano and Kitanomine, which have 23 trails in total. You can reach the summit directly by a 101 passenger Furano Ropeway and see a great view of the Daisetsu Mountain Range.

Know Before You Go

• 1Book lift passes and rentals online in advance, especially during peak season.
• 2Consider visiting weekdays for fewer crowds and better slope conditions.
• 3English is generally understood at the resort, but a translation app helps elsewhere.
• 4Dress in layers; Hokkaido's winter weather can change quickly.
• 5Check bus schedules to/from Furano Station; they are less frequent in the evening.
